IIJ-Dec-01 : Performance Enhancement of Detection Rate of the Intrusion Detection System with Gain Ratio

ABSTRACT : New era of Technology today there are several Different type of attacks, some of them cannot found by any available model. Network is increasing rapidly so, security is a major problem in networks. In recent time many researcher are using data mining technique for IDS. For intrusion detection or fraud detection we require an efficient framework for identifying the deviate data. Here we proposed new approach for gain ratio and utilized classification algorithms for better result. Internet attacks are rapidly growing, and there have been several attack approaches, consequently. Attack detection systems are using various data mining techniques to detect intrusions. We diminish the false positive and rise true positive. In this paper, experiment results are calculated using kddcup99 data set. Feature selection of the data set is executed using gain ratio and classifier.

IIJ-Dec-03REMOTE MONITORING AND FIELD IRRIGATION USING SOLAR POWER, GSM AND HUMIDITY SENSOR

ABSTRACT: In the field of agriculture, use of proper method of irrigation is important because the main reason is the lack of rainfall & scarcity of land reservoir water. During present days the agriculture fields are decreasing day by day due to scarcity of an electricity and water. The continuous extraction of water from earth is reducing the water level, due to which a lot of land is coming slowly in the zones of un-irrigated land. Another very important reason of this is unplanned use of water due to a significant amount of water goes waste. The world is facing a another problem that is a population. Now a days the population is increasing day by day then there needs a lot a food crops to satisfied the today population. There is a need of a new technology in a agricultural system that is automatic irrigation system through a solar power .For this purposes an advanced automated irrigation system has been introduced. In this automated system we have used a GSM modem (SIM300), to continuous monitor the status of our water pump without staying in the field. We simply need to send a SMS via Mobile to the circuit inbuilt near pump. This circuit will switch on the pump automatically. And for stopping the motor we need to send another SMS. If at any situation in between the pumping of our field electricity gone or disconnected, then we will get instant SMS on our mobile via GSM modem. We have designed and developed our circuits for sensing and monitoring the irrigation system. By using this technique we can produce a crops in a efficient ways and the farmer has no need to continuously monitor the soil and weather conditions in favor of growth of crops. In this project mainly the solar power is used to supply required power to the pump set and the humidity sensors are used to sense whether the soil is in a wet or dry conditions. Additional components are used in the project they are microcontroller, Op-Amps and GSM Modem. In this predissertation paper we have used a advanced method of irrigation in which we need not to be present in the field. Continues monitoring will be done by GSM modem and on the basis of field status from the humidity sensor, our motor is being on and off automatically and if at any instance we want to control the motor manually we have to send a SMS from our mobile.

IIJ-Dec-04: Z‐WAVE BASED AUTOMATIC HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM FOR SAVING POWER CONSUMPTION

Abstract— Innovation is utilized as a part of homes to make a computerized situation, for example,controlling room temperature, sundry gadgets, security and lighting. The design of home automation system is adapted towards the automation of procedures like remote control of the home environment machines. This paper presents an automatic home automation system based on Z-Wave. The paper provides a comparative study of different wireless protocols out of which Z-Wave is on the rise due to several advantages. It also illustrates the designing and implementation of HAS for remote controlling and monitoring of various domestic loads/appliances using Z-Wave p r o t o c o l . Further, it outlines a venture model to remote regulating and monitoring about different loads/appliances and a method for efficient power utilization through real-time power consumption for those help of a PC-based GUI application. So as in evaluating the aggregate power utilization of the desired loads, the implemented home automation system can be operated in two modes which is decided by the power measurement strategy to be fused viz. Energy Measurement IC Based PMU and Current Sensor IC Based PMU. Moreover, the paper describes proposed system for saving power consumption, we are using PWM technique to maintain the load.

IIJ-Dec-05 : Design Efficient and Scalable Arithmetic Logic Unit for Floating and Fixed Point Data

ABSTRACT: The development and enhanced of digital world such as computer laptop calculator and many computational devices used CPU. The CPU is heart of any computational and functional model. The main core part of CPU is ALU. The ALU perform the arithmetic operation for the functioning of digital device. In the process of designing the ALU faced more problems such as emission of heat and utilization of more memory for the data operation. On the view of design issue used two techniques for the processing of ALU design principle one is chain structure and other is tree structure. In this dissertation design a very efficient ALU structure for the processing of high speed data and pattern analysis. For the minimization of memory utilization and heat emission reduces the instruction cycle for the processing of data.
