IIJ 01 : Comparative Analysis of PI, PID and IP Controlling Schemes for Speed Control of DC Motor

Abstract—DC motors are extremely used where extensive speed control range is required. This paper presents speed control of DC motor using different controlling schemes- PI, PID and IP. Here we have analyzed their transient behavior for controlling speed of dc motor.  PI controller is the most common controller applied for controlling speed of dc motor but PI controller has some disadvantages like high overshoot, sluggish response to sudden load change and sensitivity to gain parameters. To overcome these drawbacks of PI controller it is replaced with PID and IP controller. When PID controller is used overshoots(14.4%) get reduced to 6.53%  than PI controller(20.93%). With  IP  controller there is  20.93% less overshoot than PI controller and 14.4% less than PID controller. When we consider time parameters (rise time and settling time) PID gives fastest response. Here PI, PID and IP controllers are implemented in Matlab (Simulink) and comparison of their performances on the basis of transient response is analyzed. We also compared effect on speed responses of DC motor with each controlling scheme by varying load torque.

IIJ 02 :  A Survey on Reversible Adders

Abstract – A Programmable reversible logic is emerging as prospective logic design style for implementation in modern nanotechnology and quantum computing with minimal impact on circuit heat generation. Recent advances in reversible logic using and quantum computer algorithms allow for improved computer architecture and arithmetic logic unit designs. In this paper 4 designs of reversible full adders are surveyed namely: full adder using Peres gate, MIG gate full adder, IG full adder, FRG full adder. It is observed that Peres gate full adder requires least hardware resources but the other three gates provides fault tolerance.

IIJ 03 : AN EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION FOR ENHANCE THE ANTI WEAR PROPERTIES OF EN8 STEEL BY USING CuO NANOFLUIDS

Abstract- Nanofluids have displayed enormously exciting potential applications, some vital hinders also exist before commercialization of nanofluids. The following key issues should receive greater attention in the future. Firstly, further experimental and theoretical research is required to find the major factors influencing the performance of nanofluids. Up to now, there is a lack of agreement between experimental results from different groups, so it is important to systematically identify these factors. The detailed and accurate structure characterizations of the suspensions may be the key to explain the discrepancy in the experimental data. Secondly, increase in viscosity by the use of nanofluids is an important drawback due to the associated increase in pumping power. The applications for nanofluids with low viscosity
and high conductivity are promising. Enhancing the compatibility between nanomaterials and the base fluids through modifying the interface properties of two phases may be one of the solution routes. Thirdly, the shape of the additives in nanofluids is very important for the properties; therefore, the new nanofluid synthesis approaches with controllable microscope structure will be an interesting research work. Fourthly, stability of the suspension is a crucial issue for both scientific research and practical applications. The stability of nanofluids, especially the long-term stability, the stability in the practical conditions, and the stability after thousands of thermal cycles should be paid more attention. Fifthly, there is a lack of investigation of the thermal performance of nanofluids at high temperatures, which may widen the possible application areas of nanofluids, like in high-temperature solar energy absorption and high-temperature energy storage. At the same time, high temperature may accelerate the degradation of the surfactants used as dispersants in nanofluids and may produce more foams. These factors should be taken into account. Finally, the properties of nanofluids strongly depend on the shape and property of the additive.

IIJ 04 : A review paper On Exploration of The Hydroforming Process for Manufacturing of Domestic Component By FEM Application

Abstract: In present economical condition there is a requirement to produce the component by the lesser applied energy to procedure the product and utilize the maximum power of the application for various literature we found that has he velocity forming technologies are very good in this by application of force with very high velocity the deviation with be increased in their strain rate. One of the emerging technologies is hydroforming. We are here to explore the possibility of the exploration we use the method of FEM to perform the virtual manufacturing process. In LS – DYNA the work is carried out in 12 different cases, it is found from the results. The process having possibility the manufacture the component for all the cases. The parameter are taken is fluid used to produce the pressure. Material of the bottle is steel and aluminum to make the product is average 300 MPa for the most of the cases.

IIJ 06 : Study of Arithmetic & Logic Units for Floating Point Processors on FPGAs

ABSTRACT : This paper deals with low power ALU design and its implementation Spartan 3 FPGA. Most of power is consumed in ALU in any processor and hence reduction in ALU power is needed. In this work, two ALUs are designed; the first design is conventional with all the logic blocks running all the time, in second design only those blocks are active which are used by currently selected operation, rest all blocks are inactive. This reduces the dynamic power consumption of the design.

IIJ 07 : A Survey on Cryptographic Techniques

In this review paper different asymmetric cryptography techniques, such as RSA (Rivest Shamir and Adleman), Diffie-Hellman, DSA (Digital Signature Algorithm), ECC (Elliptic curve cryptography) are analyzed.
